What is Church Planner
A quick tour of what Church Planner does and how the pieces fit together.
Church Planner is church management software for planning your whole church calendar, not just Sunday worship. It runs in your web browser at churchplanner.ca and as a mobile app.
What you can do with it
Plan events. Every service, rehearsal, class, or meeting is an event. Each event has a schedule, an order of service, a ministry team, and an attendance list. See Events and scheduling.
Schedule volunteers. Ministries (like Worship, Media, or Hospitality) have positions, and you assign people to positions for each event. Volunteers with accounts get reminders before they serve. See Scheduling volunteers.
Take attendance. Check people off on any device during the event, count guests, and review attendance reports later. See Taking attendance.
Manage your music. Keep a song library with ChordPro or chord-over-lyric charts, transpose keys, attach songs to services, and email the set list with charts to your team. See Music.
Keep people informed. Send in-app messages, and let each person choose their own email or SMS notification preferences. See Messages and notifications.
Who sees what
Access is controlled by roles and permissions. A volunteer might only view events, while a planner builds schedules and an admin manages settings and billing. See Roles and permissions.
Languages
Church Planner is available in English, French, and Spanish. Each person picks their own language from the menu in the top bar.
