Planning configuration
The three building blocks every event is made of.
Settings, then Planning Config configures the building blocks of event planning, in three tabs. Each tab requires its own permission (manage event types, manage locations, manage ministries), so you can delegate one without the others.
Event Types
Categories of events, with optional automatic titles (date masks), attendance preloading, and a default type. Full detail in Event types and date masks.
Locations
The venues events happen in, with a default and an active flag. Full detail in Locations.
Ministries
Your serving teams, each with positions, volunteers, planners, and the event types they serve at. Full detail in Ministries and positions.
The setup wizard seeds one of each to get you planning on day one: a "Main Location", your main service type, and your chosen ministries plus the built-in Service and Worship ministries. Everything it created can be renamed or extended here.
