ChordPro converter
A free tool for converting and transposing charts, no account needed.
The ChordPro converter is a free tool on the Church Planner site. It needs no account and there is nothing to install.
What it does
- Converts between chord-over-lyric charts (chords on their own line above the words) and ChordPro's inline bracket format, in either direction, with auto-detection of what you pasted.
- Transposes up or down by any number of semitones, with a sharps/flats spelling toggle.
- Produces Nashville number charts from any chart, with the key detected or chosen.
Paste your chart, pick the output tab, and copy, download, or print the result. Nothing you paste is stored.
When to use it
Use the converter for quick one-off conversions, for example cleaning up a chart a guest musician emailed you. Inside Church Planner you rarely need it: the song library imports ChordPro, OnSong, and chord-over-lyric files directly, and every chart transposes on screen.
