SMS reminders
Text-message reminders for teams that do not live in email.
Email reminders are included on every paid plan. SMS is a Pro plan feature; see Plans and pricing.
What arrives by SMS
Anything a person's notification settings send by SMS: schedule reminders before events they serve at, and any alerts whose channel they set to SMS or Both. See Notification preferences.
Setting it up
Each person does this once, for themselves:
- Open Profile and add your mobile phone number.
- Enter the verification code Church Planner texts you. A verified number is required before SMS can be selected anywhere.
- In Profile, then Notifications, set your channel to SMS or All Configured.
On plans without SMS, the SMS options appear disabled with a note that SMS reminders are available on the Pro plan.
