Notification preferences
Each person tunes their own reminders, digests, and alerts.
Open Profile, then Notifications. Everything on this page is personal: each user controls their own notifications, and administrators cannot override them.
Schedule notifications
Reminders for events you are scheduled to serve at.
- Schedule Notifications turns them on or off.
- Notification Channel: None, Email, SMS, or All Configured. SMS requires a verified phone and the Pro plan; see SMS reminders.
- Days in Advance (0 to 30) sets how far ahead the reminder lands. The default is 2.
In-app notification frequency
How you hear about new in-app messages: Immediately, a Daily Digest, a Weekly Digest (Saturdays), or None.
Alerts
Optional extras, each sent independently of the schedule reminders above. You only see the alerts your permissions allow.
Upcoming Birthdays Digest (requires the View Birthday Report permission). A recurring list of upcoming birthdays, weekly on your chosen day or monthly on a chosen date (1 to 28), at the hour you pick in your local time. Channel: your system setting, email, SMS, or both.
Position alerts (requires the Subscribe to Service Position Alerts permission). A heads-up before each service telling you who is filling the Service Leader, Speaker, and Worship Leader positions. Subscribe per position, choose how long before the service it arrives (15 minutes to 24 hours), and pick the channel. Useful for pastors and sound desks who want the lineup without opening the app.
